Digital Art: The Eyes Have It

I used a royalty-free photograph as the foundation for this peice. I wanted to convey a fracturing of the sense, to sort of illustrate the vibe that some people get that there are dimensions upon dimensions of perception just at the very edge of one's consciousness.

That is why nearly everything is fragmented: the pair of eyes, the dripping grind, the very edges of the "kaleidoscope eyes", even the green noise pattern.
