Deep Fried Live-- Award winning site that features the animated cooking show "Deep Fried LIVE!" hosted by Tako the Octopus-- every episode not only has plenty of comic mayhem and mishaps (usually happening to poor Tako), but each episode goes in-depth on how to make everything from beer-battered chicken to pumpkin flan in easy-to-follow recipes. The site even goes into the science behind good cooking.

Easter Eggs-- No, no, no. Not like the dyed kind. The term "Easter Egg", means any amusing tidbit that creators hid in their creations. And since it's free, anyone can start up their own easy-to-update journal if they want.

Snopes: The Urban Legends Reference Page--Whether you want to see if the latest e-mail forward has any validity to it, or the latest rumor you heard was true, or just want to read some good old fashioned urban legend debunking, Snopes is the place to go to see the light of truth shining onto the darkness of Stuff That Might Be Made Up.

Webmonkey-- Spun off from Lycos and Wired, this site features hundreds of articles and how-to's on how to do nearly everything related to the web: HTML basics, web design, databases, JavaScript programming... all written in a relaxed, easy-to-understand format.
